“… It is a proud privilege to be a soldier – a good soldier … [with] discipline, self-respect, pride in his unit and his country, a high sense of duty and obligation to comrades and to his superiors, and a self-confidence born of demonstrated ability.” -George S. Patton Jr.

Many of us tend to simply think of Memorial Day as a “day off”, but you should use this as an opportunity to reflect on what it means- with the company of your closest friends and family.
If you feel compelled to honor the lives of those soldiers who fought for our country and died, consider having a small get-together at your apartments in El Sobrante, Richmond. Invite your friends and family and encourage them to bring different foods- potluck style. There are many ways you can host a little patriotic party to celebrate the rights you enjoy today. Here are some more facts on Memorial Day to educate yourself and your guests.
